Some recent pics of programming guru & one of the owners of Infrared 5, Chris Allen.

Here's a dog from the Infrared 5 team! Bark!

beer and bars...

I love beer..here's a little pic I took of a good pint:)
Check out my personal list of bars I like in NYC.
Comment if you want to add your own favs!

Some bars I like in NYC:

1. Arlenes Grocery (Lower East Side, NYC)
95 Stanton St. @ Ludlow.

First of all, every Monday they have free Live Band Karaoke, where you can sing with a band!! For FREE! And drink of course. They also have one of the best garage rock bands in NYC, MANCIE who plays there frequently.
Great beer, amazing MUSIC and most of all awesome location!

2. Home Sweet Home (Lower East Side, NYC)
131 Chrystie St.
Musty old dioramas and taxidermy animals, awesome happy hour and the music is good.

3. HiFi (Lower East Side, NYC)
169 Avenue A.
For one thing I saw Moby in here!
Cool bartenders and good location makes this a great spot.

4. Union Hall (Park Slope, Brooklyn)
702 Union Hall.
You gotta love a place that has a real Bocce court! Good beer selection.
Also had my 30th bday here!

5.The Bell House NY (Park Slope, Brooklyn)
149 7th St.
I like that you have to go off the beaten' path to get to this bar.
Gorgeous bar and it used to be an old factory of some sort. Also, amazing bands come through the Bell House on tour!

6. Spike Hill (Williamsburg, Brooklyn)
184-186 Bedford Ave.
Great food and awesome beer selection. Plus, you can see bands for free in their music venue next door. Just seems like a good escape from some of the super trendy Williamsburg bars nearby. The service is good too!

7. Ace Bar (East Village, NYC)
531 East 5th Street.
Really good beer and pinball machines and booths to sit in. It's basically an instant party!

8. 7B Bar (East Village, NYC)
7th St & Avenue B.
Totally artist and musician bar. You feel like you can just go up to anyone and start a conversation. The circular bar is really inviting. Another place with really cool people that are usually drinking in here!

Also.. check out my friend Raj's Iphone App. You can easily find the best beer gardens in NYC with this App. Pretty cool!
