a trick i stole from Rachel Ray. Put all the "trash" in a handy bowl and then periodically dump the bowl.

i got fresh ground beef from the butcher!

two batches because I live in NYC and my stove is too small..

sauce from scratch..

yum.. sauce w/ parsley now..

more ingredients for the filling! queso!

mix it up..

keep mixing (more parsley)..

now.. first layer of meat sauce..

pasta then cheese..

more meat sauce..

finally.. put it in the oven at 350 degrees for an hour or so..

time to wash the dishes..

and there it is! we ate a row of it before I photographed it (oops.. thanks Mark) ! So good and somewhat easy to make!
